Network Solutions – Sr. Designer
Dates: 08.31.07 – Currently Working | Herndon, VADuties: Working on a team of designers and user experience specialists to analyze the user experience for NetworkSolutions.com, micro sites, and NetSol Account Manager on a daily basis. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to fulfill development needs and discover new revenue opportunities. Develop front-end code, including CSS, HTML, JS, and PHP. Work completed involves Storefront and E-commerce functionality, newsletter campaigns, and landing page optimization. Also attend UI test panels and Eyetracking studies when needed.
Dominion Enterprises – Flash Web Designer
Dates: 05.14.07 – Currently Working | Norfolk, VA
Duties: Working with a team of designers to create custom websites for dealers in the RV, Truck, Boat, Cycle, and Aero industries. Aid in the development of flash based items for new dealers and key accounts. Work closely with front-end and programming teams to meet client needs. Focus on compelling design and layout efficiency.
Dates: 08.03.05 – 08.15.06 | Web Graphic Designer for Trader Online
Duties: Worked closely advising CycleTrader.com product development team in completing a redesign/realignment of CycleTrader.com. Focused on user-interface design. Also worked on AutoExtra.com’s product development team as their web graphics designer, creating site wide graphics. For both sites I designed key account online ads and PAA specialized target ads for both sellers and buyers. In some cases I met with sales team to discuss new campaigns and strategic advertising to aid the sales effort online. Lead the redesign of CollectorCarTraderOnline.com. In December of 2005, I finished an online Bikeline Flash ad campaign to secure a six figure account for the CycleTrader.com sales team.
Dates: 01.03.05 - 08.02.05 | Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator for AutoExtra
Duties: Marketing collateral design, copywriting and pre-press. Dealer logo and banner ad design. Report presentation layout. Chart display presentation and design. Site template design. SEO Text, WebTrends reporting, and Google AdWords account management. Created an Interactive Flash Dealer Tool Demonstration.
Launch Interactive – Flash Web Designer
Dates: 07.15.06 – 05.15.07 | Virginia Beach, VA
Duties: Agency experience. Maintaining client relationships and updating online information for multi-million dollar site contracts(ex:Stihlusa.com). Also creative work was frequent, discovering new ideas for existing long-term clients to keep their web-presence current and fresh. Very deadline oriented. Worked in a team environment to meet goals on group projects as well as kept up with individual responsibility. Completed broadcast email services and WebTrends reporting.
Century Pixel – Lead Designer
Dates: 12.03.04 – 06.15.06 | Norfolk, VA
Duties: Responsible for project management and forum moderation of Century Pixel. Created print, web, and multi-media advertisement pieces. Work on team based projects. Project managed a development team and four freelancers to complete client projects. I met and consulted with clients on many levels from advertising to email account setup. Clients ranged from educational (Ware Academy - Gloucester, VA) to corporate (Norfolk International Airport - Norfolk, VA). Worked with sales team to produce over $45,000 in projected sales over a two month period. Successfully completed nine medium scale projects in less then four months, while managing larger scale projects successfully.
Terratech Technologies, Inc. - Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Coordinator
Dates: 08.10.04 - 11.05.04 | Virginia Beach, VA
Duties: In charge of marketing functions and design projects. Completed research and development of multiple purpose direct mail marketing collateral. Wrote copy, created the budget, designed and output print and web media. Managed the production of all print media and created timelines for web based projects. Worked closely with web developers and programmers to create online presence for Terratech. Developed project time record sheets and established work flow for a four person design and development team. Helped develop a sales strategy and presentation for the sales team. Created multiple business forms and invoices.
Colley Avenue Graphics, Inc. – Lead Graphic Artist
Dates: 08.02.01 - 08.02.04 | Norfolk, VA
Duties: Ranged from logo design to formal layout of promotional materials, including brochures, direct mail pieces and signage. Created business identities and in some cases P.O.D. publishing and small publications. Typographic layout of booklets.
